Profile

I was born and raised in Okinawa. When I was young, I worked as a stylist for commercials and studio photography for about 25 years. I then switched to food coordination and realized the depth of Okinawan cuisine which has been passed down through history.

Wanting to preserve Okinawan cuisine for future generations, I learned cooking from an authority on Okinawan cuisine, obtained qualifications, and started a cooking experience class.
