Blue Zone Special Course (for foreigners)

Service Description

Okinawa is one of the world's top five regions with the longest life expectancies. This cooking experience course offers a deeper insight into Okinawan food culture. Savor Okinawan cuisine on the Blue Zone Special Course with a guided interpreter, followed by hotel pickup. <Cooking Class and Market Tour Details> Hotel pickup and drop-off included (Naha City only) Menu: 4 dishes 1. Jimami Tofu (Homemade Peanut Tofu) 2. Papaya Irichi (Stir-fried Papaya) 3. Rafute (Braised Pork Belly) 4. Purple Rice (Made with Okinawan Purple Vegetables) : Please feel free to let us know if you have any allergies or ingredient requests. Menu changes are also possible. <Course Details> Hotel pickup ↓ Market tour and shopping (approx. 30 minutes) ↓ Depending on the number of participants, travel by car or taxi to the cooking class (approx. 10 minutes) ↓ After a lecture on the Blue Zones, the cooking class and tasting session will begin (approx. 120 minutes). ↓ After the class, you will be dropped off at your next destination (Naha City only). Due to the instructor's limited English proficiency, the lesson will be conducted by a two-person team consisting of an interpreter and the instructor. The interpretation fee is included in the price. A discount applies to groups of three or more (adults only). ¥16,500 per person (tax included). Please send a message if you are bringing three or more people. If you are bringing children with you, please inform us at the time of registration. Children (ages 7-15): ¥13,750 per person. Children under 6 are not permitted.
